1. Video is still king, as much as we want to post those pretty pictures we keep seeing those reels and TikTok's taking on a life of their own.

2. AI is here to stay....and it's kind of great? Kellee shares how she has been playing with AI and ways it can light up your biz. 

3. The age of Social Commerce is here. Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube are evolving in the selling game, and this is for sure looks like it's going places in 2024!

4. Hasta la vista hashtags! Have you noticed that Instagram is phasing out the hashtags? It's focused on strong SEO and keywords, which means paying attention to our captions and social media copy is going to be a key factor in reaching different audiences and keeping the algorithm happy.

5. The shift to learning platforms. You may have noticed that social media isn't just about entertainment anymore, it's the place where people are seeking out information and communities. This provides the opportunity for us as creators, and small business owners, to educate our audience on what they need to know about how they're going to work with us.

6. Stay authentic. In a world of perfectly curated influencers, Kellee shares that she stands for staying true to yourself and embracing the messy, the unfiltered, and showing up just as you are in your social, and keeping the message true to your voice. 

7. ManyChat is the MVP of 2024... This tool is incredible, if you aren't already using it and you have a business this is your calling to start using it! It's an automated bot responder that you can set up to trigger inside of your Instagram account and gain more connected leads that don't float away with a "link in bio" call to action. 

8. The key ingredient to building your business, is your email list. Because if all else fails, if algorithms change, if social media goes wacky, you'll always have your list. And in the end, most of your sales and deeper connections with your audience will be made through your email list. If you have not started your email list, this is your sign to go and start it today!
